The Mrs Jones Emporium!!

Last night Mrs Jones threw open the doors to her brand new emporium on St John Street, and what a night it was.

From the black and white checkered flooring through to the walls and rails adorned with artwork, clothing and headpieces alike, the first step into world of Mrs Jones was a heady yet exhilarating one.

As Vodka O (apparently hangover free) flowed, guests mingled and explored the mecca that is the Mrs Jones emporium, no corner was left unexplored as feathers and faux fur literally flew everywhere. Jewel coloured shoes, embellished cat suits and sequined ball gowns all made an appearance within the cacophony of designs that lined the walls.

Artwork by Hello Marine, furniture by 423 design and books by PYMCA were also on show for all to see, whilst Victoria Saunders the in house hairdresser unveiled her aptly titled ‘Drama Parlour’ – a quirky space dedicated to banishing bad hair days for eternity.

The award of best sneak peak of the week award went to the Mrs Jones and Tatty Devine collaboration. An amazing accessory line inspired by Inca, Aztec and Navaho textiles and symbols featuring showpieces typical to Mrs Jones' style, but with a Tatty Devine twist.

As the evening came to a close and everyone headed off to Pop Up Pirates for the after party it was clear to see what a success the event had been. All hail Mrs Jones and her ability to blur the lines between art and fashion giving other designers a chance along the way. You rock my world !!
