To celebrate the launch of the much awaited Mini Countryman, Michael travelled over land and sea (well river) to Mudchute Farm yesterday to the exclusive Mini Festival.
Following a leisurely cruise down the Thames from Milbank Pier he leapt to land to be greeted not only by fellow journalists but also a great deal of sheep.
A distinct wool theme ran through the event with goody bags provided by the super cool 'Wool and the Gang' an exciting new venture started by a Swiss/Kiwi duo keen to make knitting cool, funky and fun again- their words not mine, who provide everything you need to start knitting including wool, needles and patterns.
Michael assures me he got his mitts on a couple of the bags and is now a proud owner of the Sweety Gigi Bra and the Kurtney Fox Scarf. Keep an eye on the blog for regular updates on how he's getting on..
